I have lived near Liverpool my whole life, I have visited the city many times but I had never visited either Cathedral other than for an event where I was working. The stain glass windows and textile banners within the Catholic Cathedral were amazing, clearly all handmade, their imperfections (not that there were many) gave the pieces a beautiful human touch. While I had visit the Liverpool Cathedral before I hadn’t taken the time to look around the amazing windows and design work of the building. I would love to spend the day drawing and documenting places like this, I think it would take years to get even half way round.
