As I was walking down the Bridgewater Canal in Runcorn Old Town I realised it must be bath day for the resident swans. They a really seemed to be having a great time washing and fluffing their feathers. I got out my phone and recorded them thinking they would stop quite quickly but I gave up long before they did, I was there about 10 minutes and they continued to clean their feathers.
This was only a quick drawing I have much time to spend on it as I’m hoping to catch up on some embroidery, just felt like I hadn’t had time to draw much over the last few weeks and had a spare few hours this weekend. Really pleased how the piece developed with quite bold and graphic lines, I think this piece will also embroider really nicely so will come back to it.
